We all can play a part in making Maryland roads and highways safe for everyone.
The Maryland Highway Safety Foundation welcomes the opportunity to develop new corporate relationships. For corporate sponsors, partnership with the Foundation offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of all Maryland motorists, keep your employees safe when driving during company time and reduce overhead costs to your business.
In 2007, the economic cost of crashes to employers was $200 billion in medical care, legal expenses, property damage, and lost productivity. The average on-the-job crash costs an employer thousands of dollars and crashes involving injuries cost substantially more. Yet, these crashes are largely preventable.
The Foundation has announced a call-to-action for 100 corporate businesses in the Maryland private sector to pledge change within their organizations related to motorist safety, with the intent of reducing highway deaths in Maryland.
Not only is highway safety an important social responsibility but it also will positively impact your bottom line and save you money. So join us and other leading businesses in the fight to reduce motor vehicle crash-related deaths and improve driver education in Maryland.
